An Introduction to the New Testament
This course gives participants an opportunity to learn and reflect on the content and theology of the New Testament.
This course gives participants an opportunity to learn and reflect on the content and theology of the New Testament. Participants will engage in theological reflection through reading assignments, class instruction, and online interaction. They will also engage in New Testament exegesis for practical application in ministry settings.
Objectives
Each seminar participant will . . .
- Gain perspective on and experience with the process of engaging in theological reflection in relation to personal development and ministry.
- Learn how to do theology within his or her particular ministry context.
- Engage in active conversation and discussion with their peers around the subject matter of the seminar.
- Complete a seminar project that applies what was learned to his/her professional growth and current ministry.
