1Introduction to the Mission Catalyst Program
Mission Catalysts look for opportunities to help the church connect with the non-Christian world around them. They always look for new ways their congregations can serve their neighbors in Jesus’ name. They are comfortable on the edges of church life, building bridges for the gospel into the community. They are learning to keep in step with the Holy Spirit so that they can relax and enjoy the work of evangelism without feeling that all the responsibility for leading people to faith is on their shoulders.

19Introduction to Your Story
A personal testimony, one in which one shares one's personal experiences with Jesus Christ, can be very powerful in the witnessing process. However, personal testimonies tend to point the spotlight on ourselves or at least lessen the light we shine on Jesus. Rather than creating a biographic narrative around your conversion experience, in this lesson, you will learn to tell Jesus' story from within your experiences and context.
