Proclaiming the Word
The course will equip the students to effectively communicate God's Law and Gospel in a variety of settings, using a variety of texts.
This course is required for the Master in Missions from the Michigan School of Missions. The student will understand the process of developing a proclamation message rooted in the Scriptures. The student will develop the skills needed to craft sermons, devotions, and children's messages using a variety of Biblical texts. The student will appreciate and value the importance of communicating effectively through the cultural context of the members of the congregation.
