The purpose of this course is to equip those who will be teaching the faith. The focus will be toward adult students, but the material is easily adaptable to teaching junior high and high school students.
The seminar will address these subjects: lesson preparation, teaching resources and the servant-leader role of the teacher. The seminar will involve:

  1. formulation of an objective for teaching the Christian faith,
  2. discussing the value and importance of teaching the faith in congregations,
  3. learning styles of the adult learner, 
  4. reviewing specific teaching skills and
  5. techniques and strategies that improve the teaching-learning experience, This practical seminar is designed to inspire, motivate and equip the class member for Teaching the Faith.

In this adult learning model, the student will achieve the above goals by:

  1. using the Internet,
  2. reading books,
  3. writing papers that share their gained knowledge as they
  4. communicate information with their Mentors and
  5. In a written self-reflection manor.
